I am currently in week 1 of the stage 2 post op diet, purees. I am finding this stage difficult because I have no desire to eat. I am not hungry at all. I am good with just liquids, including protein shakes. Has anyone else experienced this?

yes, every day for the last six years. But I eat anyway,5-6 times a day or I know I will starve.  I look at it like a medicine i just have  to take. I don't have to like it or want to do it.

Wow!!!! Thank you so much for replying. Now at least I know that this has happened to other people. Again thank you and I will continue to try to get my purees down.

I am 5 yrs out and still don't have hunger.   I still try to get protein in, and keep carbs low.   Congrats on being sleeved!!

I also am not so interested in eating (5 weeks out)... I mean it's hard to get excited about eating baby food but I don't really have hunger.  Honestly, I'd rather stay in the liquid (shakes, soups) phase until I can eat real food.

Thanks, Cherie! That's how I feel. I'm really good with the liquid diet. I'm not hungry, so it works for me.
