Thank you so much all of you. It is difficult right now for me. I am gaining. I guess I have to gain a certain amount anyway to get the gastric sleeve. I won't get anything done instantly. I am waiting at least 2 months. Things for me are kind of up in the air, I know no matter what I decide, I will be fine. I just continue to pray for myself and others. Life is full of uncertainty, what I like about friends is they are there for that. Priceless.

Hopefully: Future Gastric Sleeve in Fall 2016 with no complications and lots of prayers.

I told someone earlier this week.  I'm a nurse.  The hospital was cleaner than any hospital I have ever worked in in the United States.  Dr. A and his staff check on you several times throughout the night after your surgery.  Dr. Alvarez is ALWAYS available to contact.  I just snap-chatted with him earlier this week, and he's available by e-mail and facebook too.  He and his staff are incredibly supportive.  Even eight years out, I am sending him test results to make sure my sleeve is still ok, or if I effed it up and if I need a revision, which I probably won't.  I wouldn't think twice about going to him again.

Im Using Dr Rodriguez/Aramburo With Belightweight. I am Scheduled for an (out of pocket )Sleeve from Lap band revision on Jan 13th 2017.

I ve been talking with JoAnne the founder for 5 years while i tried to make up my mind and suffered with this Lap Band.

I m finally unfilled and have problems so its time to do this.!

I m approved for the Sleeve or Mini Bypass and don t know which to choose,Any suggestions anyone?

Problems with either?

I have researched till i m exhausted and always come back to the safest Agency according to what i read....be light weight.

 BTW:

I am 70 yo wt 175~ BMI 33...I was a 42 BMI 9 years ago with lap band insertion.I weighed 213 then-goal is 145

Have you done anything yet? CE?

The person who started this thread back in June already had her surgery, according to her signature, which now reads:

"Revision to Gastric Sleeve Nov 10, 2016".

Best to start a new thread...
