How long between your first visit and your operation to get the sleeve done

Seminar in November of 2015, then surgery on April 5th, 2016.  I had already done the required 6 month nutrition program.  The longest part was getting all the materials together for approval and then getting the approval itself.  The wait might be maddening, but just think, you'll get to experience the benefits for the rest of your life (as long as you put in the work, of course :) )

3 months 

4 months - my insurance required a 6 month supervised diet and we were able to include several visits in the prior year with my GP.  Though I was anxious, 4 months was actually a good thing since I met with the nutritionist each month and changed my eating habits, losing 34 out of the 85 pounds I need to lose before the surgery (my starting BMI was 39).
