SUPPORT GROUPS

Hi Everyone. I am located near Dallas, TX. I have a wonderful surgeon who has support groups for after VSG surgery but I am 4 months out and looking for a support group to go to starting ASAP. Does anyone live close and know of one?? Any help would be awesome!!

Are you certain that you can't start attending those groups now?  The support groups at my surgeon's office are open to anyone at any stage of the process.

Ditto - my surgeon's support group is for preop and postop - in fact its about 50/50.  And they require you to attend one session preop.

Call the hospital where you had surgery done, they may have a list.

I have not done my surgery yet.. I am in the pre-op stage. I just want to learn as much as I can from people who have gone through it.
