Need help with cold medicine
I had left over musinex that was kids flavored powder from when I had a lap band. I took that to break things up and sudafed to dry things out. I'm 6weeks out and I had no issue with that combo. I'd recommend liquid adult musinex but that always made my regular tummy feel queezy so I still prefer the kids packs.

We should avoid NSAID medicines, so anything with Advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve (naproxen) is a no-go due to ulcer risk.
Decongestants and allergy meds are fine. You may have an easier time picking up single-ingredient meds like Mucinex, rather than stuff like Dayquil that has multiple meds in it.
