I lost my nerve and had to postpone my surgery

I was signed up to have my surgery yesterday but I lost my nerve and postponed my surgery. For me it seemed that all the education and the run up to the surgery (Shakes, special showers, Vitamins, etc) was making me more nervous, instead of calming me down. Finally after having several panic attacks and a fit of crying, I called the surgery off...for now. I sought counseling and we are working on the situation.

Anyone else loose their nerve and postponed their surgery? What did you do to eventually get the surgery? How long did it take?

Good for you - doing what's best for yourself.  We are all different.  If surgery is right for you - then it will happen.
