3 month doctor's visit
I had my 3 month doctor visit today & am thrilled to report that I have lost over 40 lbs since my surgery and 60 lbs overall! I was also excited to be cleared to eat all foods, including salad.....who knew I would miss eating salad so much?! My labs were all good, my joint pain is better.....all around good news! So happy to have made the decision to have surgery!
I didn't think that I would miss salad either, until I couldn't have any, so I know how you felt. Since I started back in veggies I crave them for every meal. My go to veggies are brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower. It's a wonderful addiction to have, and I'm embracing it.
You're doing great! Keep up the good work and let us know how you're doing.

Be careful with salad. The salads many of us are pre-op were a little bit of lettuce and a LOT of other crap-- high-calorie dressings, bacon, croutons, cheese.
A little bit of (plain!) dark, leafy green is good for you-- but NOT when eaten to the exclusion of dense protein.
