New here and I have my VSG on 4/13/16
Best of luck with your surgery. I hope you find the sleeve as effective as I have.
I think the best advice I got for post surgery is "sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk." Sipping to prevent dehydration and walking to help diffuse the gas that they put in the abdomen to expand it so they can work. This helps with pain from the gas.
Other than that, just take it one day at a time. Follow the rules so your tummy has lots of time to heal. And don't tie your happiness to the numbers on the scale. It is quite normal to have plateaus while your body readjusts to the weight loss.
best of luck,
Carol

Walk, walk, walk and then sip, sip, sip as soon as soon as you can post op! I truly believe this helped to make me feel so great post surgery! After that follow your plan to the T! Make sure you get your water and protein in and you'll be well on your way! Good luck!
