Get a candle warmer and put it under a tea cup plate.  that should keep your food warmer.  I am going to try this myself but I've yet to look for one when I am out and about.

I hate when food grow cold too.

Guys i am confused, why would we force our selves to eat slow anyways and not enjoying our warm food forever??, are we gona eat normaly at any stadge of our lives without worrying about our sleeves ???, is it a lifetime sentence without chance of parole

Great question! Here's my answer (which has several parts):

  1. As obese people we tend to bolt our food down quickly. By doing so we don't allow the Vagus nerve to report to the brain that the stomach is being filled. It really does take roughly 20 minutes for this information to get to the brain.
  2. By slowing down another hope is that we learn to eat mindfully and begin to acknowledge the body's signals of satiety.
  3. By eating slowly we are far less likely to over fill our sleeves, which can be majorly uncomfortable.

Eventually, you will understand how your modified stomach functions and your new signals of satiety. Once that happens it does become much more "normal" to eat a meal. NOTE: I take way longer at 4 years out to eat my 3 oz of meat, 1/4 of veg and 2 TBS of carb than it used to take me to eat a burger, large fries and a dessert.

You can buy a plate that is meant for babies and uses ho****er to keep your food warm.  It has sections for different foods.  Microwave makes food too dry and tough.

I also have never been able to take 30 minutes to eat. I mean, it's not gonna take me 30 minutes to eat an egg! Never had any issues with it and the weight hasn't stopped coming off. As long as you don't get any foamies from it or indigestion, you're fine.

Our sleeves are pretty impossible to stretch and the 30 minutes thing is more to prevent foamies or that "stuck" feeling of food not going down, than stretching! :)
