I love posts like this one! Your post really shows how WLS can change someone's life. This post was about the joy of living a full life unhindered by the shackles of extra weight. Rejoice in what you have been able to accomplish! You have truly changed your life! Huge congratulations to you!

Thank you so much :)  This was one of the first times when I saw myself in a group picture, I didn't feel like "the fat one".  When they showed me this picture, I didn't recognize myself!

i REALLY need to get to this forum more often. This made my day. Very inspiring to me. I was sedentary until I had surgery. Now as my distance improves, I feel the same thing.

What an inspiration you are! Hiking in the mountains is on my list of things I want to do again so your post was so encouraging to me. My surgery is the 14th. And I hadn't thought about the t-shirts! I always get them for everyone else, but not myself because they would never have my size. Now I can't wait to get a t-shirt too. Thank you!

It's been a week and I'm still on a Smokey Mountain high!!!  The tshirt was the frosting on the cake of the weekend and I have it on today and don't want to take it off!!!!!  Instead of tshirts I used to get tote bags.  I have a TON of totes and now I have 1 shirt :)
