Hello everyone.  I have been lurking on this site collecting wonderful knowledge from you veterans.  Thanks so much.   I am on my two week diet and will have surgery on the 13th of April.   At that stage where reality is setting in and both excited and a bit nervous.

I am also new to this site and am scheduled for surgery on 4/18/16.  Am starting my 2 week protein shake diet tomorrow.

I am anxious about actual surgery since I never had any before.  Any advice?

Stick with the diet that your doctor gave you. This is to show that you can lose weight and also shrinks your liver so that the surgery is easier for your doctor to perform and you to recover from. :) Good luck!

My surgery is scheduled for 4/19/16!  I am also in the midst of the liquid diet.  Going through the sugar withdrawal was tough.  Good luck to all of the April 2016 sleevers!  I'll be checking this forum for all the good info.  We'll be going through these changes together!

Best of luck!  This site will also be invaluable after surgery when you have questions.
