A little over 2 years out.... Maintenance is not what I thought....

I haven't posted in a long time... But I tend to be around reading and remembering how far I've come along and using posts as inspiration. To all the newbies, YOU CAN DO IT. I can fondly remember when I was always going over my numbers, my stalls.... You can get through all this!

And now? Yes, maintenance is not what I thought it would be. Trying to keep that scale from going up hasn't been the problem, it's been to keep the scale from going lower what challenges me. Reminding myself to eat... I keep track of calories and do a count of every thing every night. It's hard to hit 1200.... Oh how the tables turn, and I'm so grateful for having the sleeve as my tool.

Life's changed so much, I love being an educator and traveling and the least of my worries is food. I now enjoy instagramming my oh so pretty meals as well as cooking and such, but do I really consume all that food? No, food is still something amazing, but it's not my #1 thing anymore. I love drinking 120 ounces of water and I became a coffee addict 4 months out of surgery. I walk at least 6-7 miles 5 times a week, and indulge here and there in very small amounts. Always aware of those calories.

I am thankful for all that support I received here when I started out. Reading posts here has always made me feel that I'm not alone on this road.

Any who, I thought I would drop by to give some nice encouragement and to maybe see some familiar sleevers!

Great success story!  Thanks for posting.  Its inspirational.

My maintenance story is a little different.  I'm managing to keep to my goal range, but I have to cut back to lose weight periodically.

I'm so glad to hear of your success.
