One Year Surgerversary!
Hard to believe that one year ago today I was having my VSG! It didn't even dawn on me until I was driving to work this morning! I hit goal (130 lbs.) the start of December and then lost an additional 7-9 lbs. since then. I usually hang around 123-124 lbs. these days, sometimes bumping up to 127 or down as low as 121. I add/decrease calories as needed to keep me in that range.
I attribute my success to a protein forward diet, logging my food and exercise daily and regular exercise. I am so thankful for the information and support I have received on these boards. A special shout out to Cappy, Frisco, Grim, Happy Teacher and Gwen for getting me to maintenance and a huge shout out to my whole maintenance family on the VSG maintenance board - you all rock and give me the strength and inspiration to keep on keeping on!
