Goal Reached!
HI...congratulations on reaching your goal, must be fantastic ;-)
I just started. And your starting weight and goal weight are quite similar to mine.....soo..I was just wondering if there are any pointers or advice or anything you would like to share with me to help me be successful like you have been.
I just joined the forums yesterday and started reading around here. I know I will listen to my dr and nutritionist, It's just nice to also hear from those who have actually done it successfully, thanks so much
and again....way to go!!!!
Today you are you, that's truer than true! There is no on alive who is youer than you!
Thanks Shelly, and welcome to the forums! Congrats too on the great weight loss you've had thus far! Some of the best advice I've gotten here includes not freaking out about the inevitable stalls. There were quite a few weeks in a row throughout the last eight months where I didn't lose any weight and I feared that the weight loss had stopped completely. It hadn't, and reading about similar stories here kept the anxiety at bay. I have not been perfect with my food. While I stayed strict to the plan thought the liquid and soft food phase, I have had the occasional frozen yogurt, piece of chocolate or piece of pizza over time. I am learning that as long as I don't over indulge and prioritize my protein intake, I will be okay. I repeat the mantra "progress, not perfection" to myself often. I have noticed that these occasional indulgences can trigger more cravings, so I have to be careful to really limit the intake of simple sugars and carbs. Reading these forums has helped me to understand and believe that this tool (my sleeve) will continue to work well as long as I treat it as a tool and not a solution. Best of luck to you. I'm sure you will also successfully reach your goal and I look forward to seeing your progress and comments on the board.
