Had surgery. Not sleeved.

When they tried to do the sleeve, my stomach was so messed up from the band, they couldn't do it. They had to remove part of my stomach and I am a n the hospital with a tube down my throat into my stomach. Hopefully getting out of Friday after the leak test. I feel horrible. 

I'm sorry, that is so disappointing.  Hopefully you'll heal quickly and get a new surgery date?  Hugs - I hope you feel better soon.

Hoping for summer or fall. I am hoping. Don't gain without the band!

I am so sorry :( Hopefully this is a step in the right direction though. It will be hard for now, but in the end it should be worth it. 

Kathy I'm so sorry, please don't let this get your hopes down! You'll get back on your feet in no time, I"m sure of it! Please don't give up, just think of this as one more step in your journey, another anecdote to the story you're going to tell in a few years of how you overcame all the obstacles to achieve your goals.

I worry about taking time off work. I may have to get on disability if I do the sleeve this year. 

It's all about priorities, what comes first, work or health?

It is not always that simple,bill still have to be paid.
