SO MY SURGERY WAS 3/21 AND I KNOW THAT 2 WEEKS IM ON LIQUIDS AND TRYING NOT TO GET DEHYDRATED SO FAR SO GOOD I WAS JUST HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IN PROTEIN BUT I BROUGHT A UNFLAVORED ONE (WHICH TOOK MY AGES) SO IM OK NOW..MY FOLLOWUP APPT ISNT UNTIL 4/6 AND I KNOW THAT AFTER 2 WEEKS YOU CAN START ON SOFT FOODS SO YOU DO THINK I CAN START THAT MONDAY 4/4 OR DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I GO FOR THE F/U??

Stick to your post-op plans given to you by your Nutritionist---those guidelines were given to all of us for a reason.
I've been a nurse for 25 years...the liquids are safest while the incision/ staple line is healing...you definitely don't want rough solids brushing up against an area that is healing before intended.
Best to stick to the plan... "real food" is just around the corner for you!
