Can't get in my protein ?
Just aim for a little better every day... no one gets in all their protein right away post weight loss surgery. Agree with poster above... water is super important... sip that as much as you can.
Try a different protein too... maybe some sample travel sizes. They don't all taste like monkey butt ;) travel sippy style mugs help too... sort of skims them of off putting foam and avoids proteiny smell.

Travel cups were the only way I could handle drinking shakes of any kind. Not being able to smell was a huge help!

You can drink pre made or protein powders. There are so many kinds that you can try. You can get anything from unflavored to typical vanilla/chocolate or even creative things like double stuff cookie or cookies n cream. I get my powders from vitamin shoppe. My absolute fav protein which I cannot ever get enough of us Chike iced coffee protein powder. I drink it even years after surgery.
Just remember this is temporary. It will be A distant memory soon. Do your best to get down your protein and fluids so your body can heal as quickly as possible.

I had a terrible time with the chocolate- and vanilla-flavored protein. I finally discovered "syntrax nectar" which has the consistency of Crystal Light. Still tastes a little funky, but WAY easier to take! I got the fuzzy navel flavor and it's good stuff.
I think there are places where you can order a bunch of different flavors, since there are a TON, and get a little pouch of each. Lemonade, iced tea, fruit punch, pineapple, green apple, kiwi-strawberr, that sort of thing.

I found I couldn't tolerate any sweet drinks, so I'd put unflavored protein powder in chicken broth, cream of veggie soups, jello, pudding, yogurt - basically anything I could stir. This worked for me.
good luck,
