Does weight loss stop after a year?, in a nutshell no as long as you stay committed to losing weight. Oftentimes people's commitment to the program wanes after a year & weight loss does slow down, but it's not because you might do anything wrong, its just that you're not fresh out of surgery when only a couple of bites of food will leave you feeling full. Your sleeve is fully matured after a year so you'll be able to eat more. It's up to you to not eat till you're full.

I'm approaching 2 years & am still losing weight. I might get off track every now & then but overall I work my tool properly. You can too. It takes work to get to goal & stay there.

No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel
