Stalling but happy none the less!

I have been stalling at 258 for 2 weeks now. My dietician tells me at 3 and a half months out I should be eating 1000 calories, but having taken advice from here I eat between 600-800 like I have from the start of eating solid foods. Nevertheless I am in a stall. I have not changed my diet but I always have trouble getting all my liquids in. Usually they make me so full I am really not hungry anymore and I have to force myself to eat. However, during this stall I still seem to be losing inches. I took a picture yesterday and all of a sudden I saw a throat where my chin used to be, so I am very happy I can clearly see the changes now. I am not too worried about the stall, I know I am eating right and i am sure my body will kick into losing weight gear again soon, but for now, 3 and a half months out and 59 lbs down! I feel great!

You're doing great Judith!  Keep the path and that scale will be moving again soon. It always does!

I've read on here several times about a 3 month stall but I can't say for sure, I'm waiting for approval for my revision from band to sleeve

wow.  Congratulations.  What a change in just three months.  You are looking great.  And the best is yet to come!

I think you are wise to keep the calories down as long as you can.  I found that over time, I added calories just because it felt like I needed a little more to feel ok.  But I didn't get to 1000 calories until maybe 9 months out, and I never set my goal over 1000.  In fact in maintenance I aim at 1200, knowing I'll cheat a little and average about 1400 which is where my balance seems to be.

best wishes,

Carol

Not only a neck, but you've also got some suprasternal notch action going there! (that's the throat dent by the collarbone. I'm looking forward to a throat dent :))

Good job, lady!

You look happy and even younger now! Don't get discouraged. I went through a stall for 1 MONTH! Then, it finally broke and I lost like 5 lbs the week after my stall. Just keep doing what you are suppose to be doing and it will work out! I am 4 months out and feel GREAT!
