Always hungry?

A lot of people have been assuming it's head hunger. But I genuinely feel hungry so frequently. It's the oddest thing and almost a different feeling than pre surgery.

For me, the feeling of hunger never really went away like I thought it would. I am on a great PPI (tried 3 different ones), drink lots and lots of water, and never eat any processed carbs. I just never had that period of like, forgetting to eat. Now, perhaps it's just head hunger that is really strong, but my stomach does get grumbly if I haven't eating in a long time.

One great tip that I like to remember is that hunger is not an emergency. I can wait. It's fine. Thinking about it that way has really helped me realize that I don't have to be immediately trying to obtain food if I feel that hunger-like urge. I also try to always put the rest of a portion away after I am done eating my measured one, because inevitably, I will start picking at the rest and if I wait another half hour for my food to go down, I can fit in more food even though I already had the portion I should.

I have the exact same feelings! What PPI are you on? I may not have found the right one for me.
