Belching and burping for vets

I am 4 years out from my sleeve and take 30-60mg of prevacid a day for stomach acid.

About two weeks ago I started belching and burping non stop, even after a drink of water.  I am not tasting any acids coming up but I do feel pressure, like heart burn.  Nothing OTC is helping.

I am seeing my doc on Monday but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what could be causing this.  I am not eating high acid foods. I am eating on plan around 800-1000 calories, high protein, low carb. I don't drink anything with caffeine. Someone suggested that maybe I had stretched my upper sphincter from bingeing in January? Is that possible?   I am thinking maybe gall stones.

I don't know how long I will have to wait for an endoscope so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

a hiatal hernia can cause burping n belching.  It is not usuall a symptom of gallstones.
