Got my Surgery time!!!

Hello All,

Got the call from the hospital that my surgery is scheduled for Noon.  I need to arrive at the hospital at 10am.  I can't believe it's almost here.  I starting to get really excited but at the same time nervous about the unknown.  I'm sure all these feelings are normal.  I feel prepared as ever just anxious now.  Thanks for all for feedback on this forum it truly been so helpful.  Thank you all!!!

Try not to be too nervous. I was a bit sappy before I went under.  I had to ask them to dry my ears out - where all my tears ran to and gathered before the surgery.   :)

I was in for two days and could not leave until I was able to take in the amount of fluid that they required prior to discharge (I can't remember now what it was).  I had no real problems and minimal pain. I am almost 10 weeks out and 44 pounds down.  You will be in this same place soon.  Take care.
