I refuse to give up my nifty flip phone so I can't use all the dedood gadgets that sync to a smartphone  lol

Some of them can sync to your computer by Wi-Fi or USB. I've used a Fitbit Zip (the clip-on kind) and if memory serves, there was a little doohickey that you plugged into the USB port on your computer, and it would sync that way. I just did that at the end of the day and it worked great!
