My first post op NSV

So I am about 11 days post op and today my mom took me clothes shopping before going back to work tomorrow. Now normally I wear a 34 pant and 4x shirt, at least that is what I last bought in July. I would clothes shop at Catherine's or avenue or even online,  but never normal stores.  Today I went to Kohls and bought size 24 pants and a 3x shirt. It was so much fun and it felt great! Buying clothes at a normal store is the most amazing feeling, not to mention the clothes are half the price and more age appropriate for me. I am 33 :) tons of fun! 

That's awesome! I used to be a 22-24 pant and a 2x-3x in tops. It was so excited to buy a pair of jeans in an 18 (not 18w) and tops in an 18. Keep up the good work. It's well worth it

So glad you're starting to enjoy yourself again after your rough start right after the surgery.

Thanks, me too :) I don't know if it was the anesthesia or the pain meds but me and surgery apparently do not get along :P Luckily it is behind me and I can move forward now. Wednesday I got for my 2 week follow up and I find out if I can eat pureed food! Which is awesome, because I am sick of pudding.
