Major Milestone!
My hope was to lose 40 lbs within 2 months after surgery. I thought that was fairly impossible but today I hit that goal when I stepped on the scale and saw 277 lbs! 40 lbs in 7 weeks and 4 days! I am as happy as a clown, this surgery was the best thing I ever did for myself. Yes it's a struggle from time to time, but so worth it!
The picture is left, the morning of surgery, right what I look like now. I feel so much better, it's amazing!

Excellent way to work your program !!! Keeping track of your progress through pictures is an excellent strategy for keeping that motivation going into maintenance. All you have to do is look at the sparkle in your eyes in that most recent picture to recapture the genuine joy you feel, as you make some of the tough food choices ahead of you.
