Bought some Hickory Farms sausage on sale after Christmas and opened it up today. Sliced it up, ate a couple slices. Then my husband came out, grabbed a slice, and took the red lining off. Turns out is not edible. I just thought it was tough casing!!

Praying I don't get a blockage or anything lol.
