Just a quick update. I did so good at the Chinese brunch. I ordered cashew chicken off the menu rather than eating the high carb individual dishes. So its going to be a good diet day, after all.
How about you?

Carol, I think you are awesome! I really appreciate the positive energy you bring to this board. I love when you post recipes and your responses to my questions are always encouraging and helpful. Thanks so much!
B: protein shake with 1/2 cup frozen fruit in magic bullet. Got too full and couldn't quite fini**** which was unusual.
L: omelette with reduced fat provolone
D: eating out with my family so unknown. I usually just get either a sandwich or taco sort of thing and then get rid of the bread, bun, wrap and eat the meat or fish and veggies.
Water: good
Vitamins: good
Exercise: probably not today but tomorrow for sure.

Happy Sunday Carol, I didn't even know Chinese brunch was a thing but it sounds up my alley haha.
Breakfast (which I am currently eating since I just woke up because I work late and sleep late) 2 oz ground turkey cooked with garlic, onion powder, oregano, and Greek seasoning.
Lunch - either more turkey or I may make an omelet with sauteed mushrooms I prepared last night
Dinner - depending on whether I have that omelet for lunch I may have it for dinner or more turkey
Snack - Protein shake, maybe a lite string cheese depending on how I feel
Water - on track to exceed 64 oz for the day
Vitamins- As soon as I am done with breakfast
Exercise - walking and house work, I have to go shopping for protein shake and vitamins at Costco but I'll probably walk the whole store as well as I might go to a few other stores to browse with some Christmas gift cards.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Carol - You are truly an inspiration and very appreciated by many of us for the positive energy you bring to this site. Next month, I will be celebrating my 1yr surgiversary. I feel fantastick (down 112 lbs total) and am enjoying so many NSV's. I have 10 lbs to go to make my goal of having a "normal" bmi. It's a journey that takes a lot of work, planning & perseverance and for the first time in my life, I know I will do it. I've been maintaining since the holidays, but am re-grouping to reduce my calories and focus on my protein & planning.
Breakfast: Experimented with an eggwhite, onion, swiss cheese & pastrami omlette. (OK, but not my favorite)
Lunch: Salmon over salad greens with some quinoa mixed in. (Nutrtionist suggested that I start adding some carbs such as grains or fruit, evey other day)
Dinner: Left over crockpot Korean beef stir-fried with cabbage, onion, & mushrooms.
Snack: Homemade chicken vegetable soup (made this morning). May or may not have a hard boiled egg later.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, EVERYONE!
Congratulations on your one year anniversary. Its great that you are so close to goal. Isn't it wonderful that you are so close to a normal BMI. That's a huge accomplishment, and I know you'll get there!
Carol
