I was really bummed in one of my previous posts because I have only lost 17 lbs in my first month after my vsg but then today I remembered I needed to do inches lost since surgery. And I lost 4.5 inches off my waist! I'm so excited, no wonder my pants feel so much better and dig in less. What's weird is some parts of my body lost no inches not even fractional parts of inches. Like I lost nothing on my forearms for example, it's really weird. But I'll take the 4.5 inches off my waist over smaller arms for now.

Congrats! I was surprised at how quickly my body changed. Sometimes I still don't recognize myself. I see myself still as a fat guy. The mind changes slower and hopefully will catch up soon. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Nate! I was looking at your ticker and your weight loss is super impressive you definitely aren't a "fat guy" any longer!

I went to the doctor Thursday for her to review my blood tests. She said the results are great the only problem is you gotta buy some clothes that fit and stop wearing such baggy clothes.

What a great problem to have! Sounds like it's time to "Treat Yo'self" and get some new clothing. Most of my clothes aren't quite baggy yet because I always wear my clothes fitted or tighter. Only my work pants which where a looser cut look baggy so I did have to get one size smaller. Congratulations on your NSV! Also glad to hear your blood work is good!

Aw thank you! It's because I was comparing myself to others in my office that I am friends with who had surgery around the same time  as me that I was bummed. I don't think 17 lbs is bad. I just am really hard on myself.
