Too many ounces ??
Your body will tell you when you should stop, it's learning to recognize the signals your body is relating to you. For example, I am 8 weeks post op today, I had for the first time 1/2 of a club sandwich earlier, I would have to estimate that size wise it was probably about 8 ounces or so in size and I ate it and it was great, more of a treat than an everyday event for me mind you. That said, I felt satiated after having it. Had the other half about 4-5 hours later for dinner. At 10 days out, I think you are right on track. Good luck.
Half of a club sandwich estimated at 8 ounces is on your plan eight weeks out ?! I am eight months out, and I don't estimate. I may have picked dense protein ONLY out of a sandwich and weighed it at eight weeks, but bread, lettuce, etc., absolutely not !
Your body WILL NOT tell you when to stop at eight weeks or perhaps until six months out. Your nerves have been cut, and your stomach is still healing. Weighing and measuring is the only way to make sure you are eating within your guidelines, and properly caring for your new stomach.

This is perfect advice, but don't bang your head against the wall. That guy is NOT going to listen. I just hope spmeone else doesn't get hurt because they listened to his foolish advice.

That is such bad advice. Both you and the OP have had a large portion of your stomach removed. Do you know what that means? That means YOUR NERVES HAVE BEEN CUT and your body can not tell you when to stop. Some people do not get that sensation back for several months.
It is very, very important that you measure everything out or you will stretch your sleeve or worse yet bust your staple line.
You can call me a ***** or meanie or what ever you want, but I can guarantee that if you do not change your thinking you will be heading in for a revision in a couple of years.
Yogurt is basically liquid.
Measure out your portions. Don't overeat. You could hurt yourself.

The ability to eat 4 to 5 ounces of yogurt is probably because it is soft and doesn't cause the pyloric valve to close. when you eat dense protein, the pyloric valve closes and this maximizes our restriction.
I'd suggest limiting your meals to 3 to 4 ounces at a time - as that is the habit you'll want to develop. Once you are eating dense protein, you'll probably be able to eat even less.
Frisco, one of my role models on this forum, always says to undereat your sleeve. Its better if you don't get full. So we weigh and measure our food and try to eat less than capacity.

Thank you for the replies. I only saw the nutritionist once before surgery. My surgeon really didn't go over nutrition. My paperwork from the nutritionist says during the second phase I can have 4oz of yougurt or pudding , and 8 oz of cream soup with skim milk. That just sounds like a lot !
I guess I'm asking if the more dense protein , like puréed meat , will take up more room causing me to get in the proper 2-3 oz at a time?
