As gratifying as it is to see my weight (finally!) going down, you and the other long-time maintainers have opened my eyes to the fact that weight loss is just the beginning of the process of managing obesity, and that there is no end. Reaching goal will be great and I'll celebrate, but goal weight is just a milestone on a lifelong sojourn. Thank you, Carol, and the other long-timers here who help us newbies get perspective on what the VSG will and won't accomplish and what we must do to stay healthy and slim for the rest of our lives.
