OK this may be TMI but as I am working out I am getting rashes in really inconvenient  places  after I work out  :)

Any suggestions on how to prevent them?

Thanks

Have you tried a powder like shower to shower or something like that to help keep dry or you can try the workout clothes that are made to Wic the sweat away and keep you dry

Have you tried Her' chamois butt'r? Sometimes I'd chafe when on my bike rides so I bought this, it can be used on any skin areas that rub together or against clothing. It's like a lotion it can soothe & soften the skin. They have small packets you can try out & see if its for you. I buy them at the bike shop.

I find using antiperspirant in a lot of areas that get damp helps unless the rash is solely from friction. Than I would use a talc of some description. Good luck.

If your rashes are being caused by chafing only, a gentle skin cream followed by talcum powder will help clear it up. Be sure you're wearing the right clothing for your workouts, as poorly fitted garments can cause some serious irritation.

If, however, your rashes are being caused by a fungus, you'll have to adopt a daily regimen that includes showering after exercise, applying antiperspirant to susceptible areas, followed by a generous application of an antifungal cream or powder like Zeasorb. I know whereof I speak.

It is a possibility that your insurance may cover some limited skin removal surgery, IF it causes medical issues, which you are having. If you do have coverage, it will have to be well documented. See a doctor, get copies of their notes. Buy cream, ointment, have prescriptions, you should save receipts.
