I have surgery On December 30th. I was told to get powdered multivitamin but I don't know where or which brand to get. Which brand works for you? Or should I just get the chewable multivitamins?

I've heard of liquid and chewables, but never powdered. Many programs start people on reeular tablets they day after surgery.

Chewables should be fine. You can always grind them up into powder for a few days, but I doubt very much you'll need to.

You might want to try patchmd.com. Once I switched to them my labs started coming in normal, and there is nothing to swallow. It is the multi plus version you are looking for. There is a discount code for 40% off posted on OH also.

I saw patch md also has a calcium/ vit d patch, but the calcium is carbonate.

In your opinion, is that okay because it's not taken orally and adsorbed differently or would getting a separate chewable citrate be better?

I'll look into that. I'll also ask tomorrow when I go in for my EGD..

My dietician recommended BariLife, but it's nasty. A month's worth of power was like $37.  I asked my MD and he says to get VitaFusion gummies. You can get them at Walmart for about $5, just take 4 instead of 2. They are good as well. No issues.
