Good morning everyone.

I hope you had a joyful and peaceful Christmas, on plan or off plan!  I had my hubby throw away the left over pumpkin pie, so there is hope that I will get back on track today.

I made a few special vegetable dishes for the holidays, thinking it would keep me on track, but my carb monster had a feast on those dinner roles and pumpkin pie.  So the veggie dishes will help keep me on track this week.  I made roasted cauliflower with balsamic vinegar, pan fried cabbage, garlic green beans and sweet potato casserole.  yum...

Breakfast - salmon

Lunch - ham and garlic green beans

Dinner - rotissary chicken and pan fried cabbage

vitamins - good

water - good

exercise - maybe a walk.  Its beautiful here today.

So what are you eating today?

Christmas was wonderful compared to Christmases at my high weight. My son and DIL worked their butts off to make a spectacular Christmas dinner, and I was able to say thank you by giving them a break and cleaning up afterward. They were very surprised and happy to hear that! At my high weight, I could have eaten the dinner, no problem, but cleaning up -- no way could my joints have withstood that kind of effort. Today I'm back on my simple foods, and to be frank, I now prefer them to high-fat, high-prep delicacies.

B: Protein coffee

L: 4 pieces spicy tuna sushi

D: Leftover pork w/roasted veg

S: Tangerine, black coffee, gummy vitamins

W&V: On track

E: 1-mile walk

I sure can relate to your post.  Since I've lost weight, I do the clean up at my son's parties.  Before surgery, it was too painful to stand for any length of time.  But now its easy, and I'm so glad I can help.

Congratulations on your weight loss success!

Had a wonderful Christmas this year.  We were out and about a lot, so we ended up with quite a bit of leftover plan friendly food - lots of chicken marsala, one of our favorites.  We saw Daddy's Home this morning, so much fun - it's hard to pass up seeing Mark Wahlberg shirtless, at least for me.

B:  syntrax nectar protein drink

L:  chicken marsala w/melted mozzarella cheese

D: chicken marsala w/melted mozzarella cheese

W & V:  on track
