Travel Expectations: Revision Surgery with Dr. Ponce de Leon
While I didn't travel to Mexico, I did fly to Florida to have my surgery. One thing I had wish I knew earlier is that Airlines have disability seating. After you book your ticket, I would call and explain that you will be flying home after surgery and they will likely let you board earlier and put you in an aisle seat (sometimes with more room and with your companion) if requested so you can walk frequently to avoid clots.
