Sorry about this question, I know it must have been asked/answered 100 times, but, can you take liquid cold medicine- nyquill- benadryl- tylenol liquid etc.... if not, any suggestions?

another question: I looked in my notebook from my nut, and it only goes up to wk 7 for food/info.  How many calories, carbs should I be at now at 12 weeks out?

Thanks  Dee

I believe Tylenol products are the safest for sleevers.  Hopefully some other folks will chime in on this.

Our chart stops at 7 weeks as well, that's where we continue during weight loss.  We were instructed to eat 600-800 calories per day, at least 60 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbs or less per day - during weight loss.  1200 - 1500 calories per day in maintenance.

Surgery Date: 12/9/14 - Highest Weight: 349 - Surgery Weight: 305 - Current Weight: 137
Goal reached in 13 months - 212 total pounds lost including pre-op
(M1: -20) (M2: -18) (M3: -11) (M4: -11) (M5: -14) (M6: -1) (M7: -18) (M8: -7) (M9: -15)

(M10: -13) (M11: -7) (M12: -10) (M13: -10) (M14 -6) (M15: -7) - 168 lbs lost post-op

Yes as long as it's not Ibuprofen or Aspirin based. Tylenol based are fine.

Yup. Most of them are acetaminophen based. Just double check the label if you use a generic type to make sure it's not NSAID based before you take it. I was using DayQuil/NyQuil a few weeks ago. Mom recommended. VSG surgeon approved!
