Man was supposed to get out Tuesday or Thursday but had a small bleeder. It sure hasn't soured me though. Surgeon and hospital staff was great. BAlso couldn't thank my wife and parents more. Wife has been by my side and parents watching after kids.

i am blessed and ready for the next stage.

It is nice when you have someone helping you when you get home from the hospital. The first 3 days are a little tough sometimes. Stick to the doctors orders and enjoy your new life! The liquid diet is boring but it will be over soon and you can enjoy things more. Please keep us updated when you feel like it.

i also had a bleeder. they had to go back into my new tummy and clean it out and i had to have a transfusion. so i did research when i got home and realized its more common than i would have thought. but it makes sence that it could happen

With a great attitude like yours, you'll get through whatever recovery may throw at you (which may be nothing at all). Good luck. Give your family lots of hugs. I'm sure they were very worried, too.

Like your positive attitude. Having support around you I know is a big blessing. I am going in for surgery on Jan 11/15. I am very curious as to what I will be going through the next couple weeks after surgery. I live on my own. Also I am new on this Forum. Any whelp would be grateful. Thanks & God bless.
