I am 10 wks out (as of tues) lost 36lbs, and still cannot wear  knee high winter boots! already  knew I'd be asking for "large calf"  ( as  the sales person asked me also)    Was hoping that to be a present to myself, but now just hoping I can fit into a pair in another month.......

You sound like me with size large shirts. I can juuuust fit into them, but they are not flattering at. all. lol One day. We just have to keep reminding ourselves that it'll happen one day. :)

I had to drop below 180 lbs. before I could get into regular knee high boots.  I have the calves of a sumo wrestler...and kinda still do!

Tracy you crack me up!haha! My husband has always loved to tell me " those aren't calves, those are  steers"  of course he was the only one laughing...... but the last laugh will be on him, just hope it is still in "boot weather" !!

I'm at 157 lbs now and still can't even wear the wide calf ones. They zip, but they're so tight that they make my legs all sweaty (especially the right one, which is inexplicably larger than the left one). I gave up and bought some cute short boots instead. I will just always have huge legs, lol.

Really?  with that much weight loss?  Just noticed you are almost to goal!! I have been told get ankle boots, but really want knee high, but if that doesn't happen- I might have to settle......

Keep up the awesome work you are doing!  Dee

Yeah, it just wasn't meant to happen I guess. They're at least mostly muscle now though since I've been doing a lot of cycling. Keep trying -- my boss has big calves and loves Nine West boots because they have a stretchy piece at the top.
