can this lifestyle nutrition change be done vegan?

I'm getting so tired of the meats and poultry, seafood. Has anyone had success with using a vegan approach to vertical sleeve. Just wondering. I find myself not eating all day, maybe having breakfast, lunch at 4 pm now I'm exhausted and don't want to eat the RIGHT FOODS. Help me get motivated again. I still have 40 lbs to lose and I can't make a new ticker grrrr.
thank you

I'm not vegan, but I don't much like the taste of red meats. Chicken is sort of okay. I like fish, tofu, eggs, and beans, and these protein foods are what I eat most of the time.
I think it's possible to be a vegan sleever, but it would be difficult. Getting enough protein from plant sources would be a problem, as they're not as dense as animal proteins, so you would need a higher volume of them to get enough nutrition, tough to do with a tiny sleeve.
I would suggest learning to make dishes that feature tofu or beans. Both foods are versatile, and there are a gazillion recipes for them on the internet. You would have to find only a few dishes that you like, and by mixing them into your routine, the meat and fish meals won't seem so repetitive. Good luck!

You certainly can eat vegan foods in addition to the things you're eating now - it doesn't need to be all one way or the other. You can do lunches vegan, dinners as meats, etc.
Due to the challenges you've faced, and the difficulty you've had in prioritizing your health, I would not recommend that you choose such a restrictive way of eating. It seems like a recipe for disaster.

Are you seeing a therapist?
You've made a lot of posts about how you're struggling - what are you doing to help with that struggle? What have you been doing to change your habits?
I feel like this post is just an attempt at reverting to old ways - "I haven't lost enough weight, so what fad diet can I try?" Veganism isn't a fad diet, but it can certainly be used that way.
What are you doing to fix YOU and the underlying causes that are making your flounder? Until you address those, no diet, or surgery, will do much.

I agree with Gwen, it doesn't have to be all 1 way or another. You can mix it up, maybe a vegetarian breakfast/lunch, have an animal protein for dinner. A vegan/vegetarian approach is possible, but is very difficult to get in all the protein you need on a daily basis & you'll end up relying on shakes just to get it all in, super boring imo. Plus you'd have to be careful with the carbs, for me whenever I upped the carbs, my weight loss slowed/stopped, so it's a real balancing act. It's so easy to go overboard on vegan food.i.e nuts, fruits etc
It sounds like you need to change it up, you've got a little diet fatigue going on, but girl you doin good! Just 40 more pounds? You know you've got this, right? On a side note Tootie from Facts of Life joining RHOA & no Nene? Hmm? Kenya throwin shade on Sherie, not cool. LOL
