My first NSV!
So, I am a musician...a professional singer in a band...and my husband and I are re-starting a rockabilly band we had a few years ago. I have a couple very retro and pretty dresses I bought way back when, that I haven't been able to fit into for a long time now. Today, on a whim, I tried them on. One, fits like a glove. Not tight at all, but it fits PERFECTLY, and the other also fits, but the arms are a bit too tight. One of my biggest problems is I have HUGE arms. Once I am closer to my goal weight, I will be looking at surgery for that....and then full arm tattoos...in the meantime..I CAN FIT IN THEM! Wooohooo!
Good for you! This will be the first of many NSV's. My arms are an issue too.

NSV=Non scale victory
Those lovely, positive things that happen after surgery that have nothing to do with the scale.
5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
Congrats on the clothes NSV...that always feels good. I held onto most of my smaller clothes until last winter, and then bagged them up and donated them thinking I'd NEVER lose the weight! But for now at least my smallest fat clothes are fitting loosely...I am not investing in new clothes just yet.
My 1st NSV was noticing my collarbones...how weird...and then being able to roll over in bed at night without getting winded and feeling like I climbed Mount Everest. As I continue to lose I find these 'small' treasures I 'ate away' without realizing I lost them...to be more valuable than the numbers on the scale!
And P.S....my upper arms...ugh..and my thighs are starting to sag, too...double ugh. But I will also be getting my 1st tattoo as I move towards goal!
