Word to the Wise

... pre-op... when you are running to the ladies for a quick pit stop after changing into your gown but before the doctors take you back to the OR, do NOT believe the nurse when she tells you that she tied it shut for you.  She will be a filthy rotten liar and you will end up walking through the hall with your naked arse hanging out the back of the gown similar to many anxiety dreams about showing up to high school naked.  OMG.  It's been nearly two weeks and my face is still red thinking about it. 

You made me laugh out loud :-). And it reminded me of an unfortunate incident of my own many years ago when I mistakenly tucked the back of my skirt into my pantyhose after going to the airplane restroom. Yup, I walked all the way up the aisle from the back of the plane. And when someone told me after took my seat, I wanted to disappear .... but no, I had to be 'that person' for several hours before I could escape!

That was totally me.  Of course it couldn't be a nice two years post sleeve, when, perhaps, I would have an arse worth seeing.  Nope, had to be in my pre-surg glory.  LOVELY.

LOL...MY ass will never be worth seeing again...pre-op.....post-op....whenever!

That is so funny. I am a RN at a local hospital, I had my surgery done in a neighboring town and when I woke up from surgery my mom told me "practically the whole surgical team knew me." Apparently alot of the OR nurses work at the same facility as I do and moonlighted over there. I was so secretive about my surgery with my coworkers, I wanted NO ONE to know. Well eventually I did tell my co- workers, and everytime I bring a patient to the OR I always think which one of these nurses seen me naked
