Insurance Irritation

So in the mail today I got that they denied the coverage of my second day in the hospital.  So frustrated,  everything was preapproved  to my knowledge.  Of course it is after hours for my surgeons office.  Have no clue what it means our how much it will cost to pay for a day in the hospital. ..

Any suggestions on how to move forward. ... ughhhh

this is not unusual. They want to approve the least amount of hospital days as possible. After you have had your surgery,your surgeon can request the additional day in the hospital,saying you are not medically able to leave yet,and it will be covered.
