I thought they were both awful. I did choke down a fair amount of the RTD in the first few weeks after surgery, because even mixed 50/50 with G2 or Powerade Zero they were still a good way to get a lot of protein in a relatively light format.

Agree, but going for the protein here. can't wait to hit more protein with food!! Dee

I use isopure unflavored and mix into crystal light. It dissolves well.

I love the isopure protien. I like the clear protien drinks. They are expensive, but one for 20g of protien it is only 80 cal. There is one hitch, they do have a bit of a weird smell and aftertaste. It is something that I am willing to deal with. I like the blue raspberry and orange. I gert mine at the vitamin shoppe, they do sell them at he store individual so that you can see if you like them.

You are the first one to say you like the taste. I haven't tried the drinks yet, just bought one yesterday, did hear about the after taste, but that is doable if the drink is tolerable. I bought grape, my gnc didn't have a big selection. blue raspberry sounds good, gonna look for that. thanks Dee

I didn't mind the isopure in something like crystal light. I just couldn't get past the foam when blended. Spent all my time waiting for it to go away or spilled half the drink trying to scoop it out. Tried once to just force the foam down and now even thinking about it makes me want to hurl.

I used the Isopure Zero Carb drinks (Fruit Punch only) as an afternoon drink the first 6 month to get in all my protein. I had to make sure they were icy cold because they aren't the tastiest drink on the planet

The first 6 months I was eating so little the cost was worth it to me.

I'm 6 months out and still drink the grape. I mix 1/2 the bottle with 10 oz cold water and then add a couple of the SF grape Kool-Aid drops. It gives me 2 servings that way and I enjoy the flavor.
