I know some people on here really like then. I tried one and they weren't for me. I'm not sure what stage you're in, but I prefer to try and get my protein in thru food and not drink. They may be a good option if you have been freshly sleeved.

I am 6wks out today-but struggling with my protein drinks- realized I must have lactose intolerance/ or even milk allergy. isopure had good reviews on taste/texture and same price as some others, but hoping someone on here could give me the real scoop on them!! I can't wait til I can get protein thru eating! thanks! Dee

I drank a lot of the Isopure drinks in my third and fourth week post op because they were the right consistency for me and an easy way to get in 40 grams of protein. I've moved onto solid foods now so am trying to reduce my reliance on protein shakes, drinks etc but they were definitely a good option during those weeks. I liked the Mango Peach and coconut flavors the best. They are pricey but they settled well and were worth the money to me.

I tried the punch and orange. Really disliked the taste. I am out 6 days so I might not be a good reference. The Vitamin shoppe sells them individually, so get one or two and try them :)

I'm preop but I've tried the grape and as long as I dilute it with water, it's pretty good. I'm going to be relying heavily on them my first week postop! So I'm planning on having a variety of flavors so I don't get sick on one kind!

I just bought grape yestesday, I ran into my GNC and they were $6 a bottle! whew! If hard to get down, I might do what you do, dilute it. Salesman did say, they leave a "film" in your mouth-huh? oh boy, might be harder to drink than I thought!! Good luck with surgery! Dee

The water helps with the film too! I put mine on ice and it really wasn't bad, half and half with water. If you have a Vitamin Shoppe nearby they are $4 something a bottle. Plus you can get coupons online from them sometime and save even more! Lots of luck! Debbie

They were a great protein source early out but I could hardly stomach the taste. So happy when my 12 pack was gone!

I just had my 12oz this morning, with water- was trying to find one lactose free and tasted good, but it has 50g of protein, hard to beat, so thinking I will down it no matter how awful it tastes. I think it takes some getting use to!ha! Dee
