A challenge from my surgeon!!

Had a regular follow up this morning...weighed in at 215.4. Thrilled with that number since my highest was 268. I feel great! My surgeon told me he thinks I can get under 200 lbs before I see him again in 1 month. Yikes- no pressure there!

i was so determined leaving the office that I went for a hike in the woods. Just as I was thinking I could stay out there forever I tripped on a root and went sprawling in the dirt! Luckily not hurt, a few scrapes and aches. I'm going to have to be more careful if I'm going to drop that 15lbs before December 4th. Determined to up my water and exercise!!

Have a great day all!!!

That's a wonderful reason to continue to do your best job. However, if you don't quite manage to lose 15 pounds in the next month, please understand that you have no control over how your body releases the weight. You can only control your behavior. Take pride in those things and let the scale do what it will.

While losing weight quickly feels great, it's the behavior changes that will make the difference long term.

Go for it with everything you have in you! Whether the scale rewards you with that actual amount of weight loss is irrelevant. And who knows, it just might!

I always set ambitious weight loss goals for myself and I found them very motivating. Many times I met them too. And when I didn't, it was usually just a matter of days later that I got there. So it was always a win :)

I completely agree it's an ambitious goal...I was just hoping to be under 200 by the end of the year! I can only do what I can do, keep working the sleeve! We'll see what happens!
