Hey Guys

It is only one shoulder that is in pain, think I did something to it?

Just curious if this is normal

Thanks

Lisa

Normal. Referred pain, usually due to gas. It should ease up over the first week.

Thanks! Couldn't figure out what I had done to it!

normal. It is the gas they use to inflate your abdominal cavity to make the surgery easier. They try to remove as much as possible but some usually remains. It will pass, but walking all you can helps as does a warm heating pad on your shoulder.

That is exactly where my gas pain sat. Walking and rolling my shoulder helped as did time. It was gone by day 3.

Totally normal - it's gas pain from the gas they blow into your abdominal cavity so they can see everything and operate. Sucks!! Heating pads help a LOT...as does lots and lots of walking.
