Two NSVs for me today!

I knew I was overdue for new pants (mine were crazy loose) but when I went shopping today I had to buy THREE sizes smaller than the pair I had on! Sometimes I get impatient with the speed of the scale, but I can't argue with this. So exciting!

The second is keeping my commitment to myself to prepping food ahead of time and having good options on hand. I am scheduled to work the next three days so I made stuffed Mexican peppers that look and smell amazing! Now I have easy to grab, plan friendly choices! I'm not even thinking about candy tonight, just excited to try one of these for dinner tonight.

Long way to go but couldn't be happier with my sleeve and so grateful that I can see myself living this way for life!

Thanks for listening all!!

Wonderful post! Congratulations on the smaller pants. Smaller clothes make it all seem real.

Mexican Peppers sounds wonderful. If they are as good as they sound, I'd love to have the recipe.

I think its wonderful that you are taking such good care of yourself by planning your meals ahead. I found that having good-tasting, plan-friendly meals was the only way I could avoid the pizza and lasagna and other forbidden foods.

Congratulations on your many successes. I hope you'll post pictures soon!

Thank you everyone!

Cappy, two of my biggest phobias are shopping and pictures of myself but I'm hoping for both to improve as the weight loss continues :). I read a lot of your posts and I agree that I will be more successful long term if I can find new and fun recipes to keep me motivated. Up until now I have just been grabbing a tuna pouch, an egg, etc. But if I can start making new recipes that fit into my plan it will help fight off boredom and resist temptation. Plus being prepared helps fight off the need for fast and less healthy choices!

The recipe was from www.getcreativejuice.com and was called cheesy chicken stuffed peppers. I can't figure out how to upload the pic here. The only thing I changed was using 1 cup of couscous instead of 2 to lower carbs. Tastes great and heats up well!
