Quest Bars?
I like quest bars and also combat bars. I usually only eat half at a time. People will caution you that they are trigger food but they help me. When I just NEED something sweet, this satisfies me and is still healthy. They are low in sugar and high in protein and usually fiber. I don't see how it is any different than a protein shake.
I found that when I was eating an Atkins diet, the weight loss went out the window when I started eating the protein bars and other supplemental products, so this time around I stuck to the real food only. No bars, no shakes, (although I did add protein powder to anything I could stir for the first few months.) But whatever works for you is what is most important.
best wishes,
Carol
