Worry about post op hunger? Surgery in 2 days!

Thanks for all the words of advise. I expect these first few weeks will be challenging and hope I can handle it mentally! This weekend of clear liquids has been harder than I thought, which is made me question if I am ready. I am trying to stay positive and think about why I am doing this and the future. I think nerves are really getting to me at this point.

I am 4 days post op, and I do feel hunger, part of it is from acid build up, but part of it is true hunger. Drink the fluids and it subsides though....easy to fill a tiny tummy!

Not sure you are experiencing any true hunger. I too was convinced mine was real until my PPI was increased and the hunger sensation went away. At 4 days out the nerves haven't healed yet and they were recently cut, this the reason I'm not so sure you're having hunger. Definitely let your Dr know you feel hungry.
