Sweet Creamy Beans Drink...Yes it sounds nasty but is really good!
Carbs carbs carbs... Ouch...
IF I eat carbs or drink them - I lose the feeling of restriction... Give me some dense proteins and couple bites of veggies and I Wil be full for a few hours.
Beans may be good for some of us (if you don't mind the gas) but chewing it vs liquid - would help with digestion, and can make us fuller for longer. Drinks just run through most of us... That's why most people get advice to not to drink the calories but eat real food.
Just because something is low fat it does not make it healthy. Fat is good ... It keeps the johns lubricated, heart happy and helps absorb fat soluble vitamins.
The low fat foods havevtypically so much carbs and sugars (even natural - sugar is sugar) and create the insulin response that can cause hunger...
The low fat is old old school what is healthy... Good natural fat is good for us.

You could leave the beans semi whole or whole as that is usually how it is served but the gas from beans is the part I don't like. There is about 30 carbs in a 1/2 cup serving of this and about 140 calories and no fat, high carbs for some folks. I am not that far on diet yet but have bought the Beano as beans are all over my plan's diet. I agree low fat diets are outdated and that you need the good fats...have you ever had an Avocado shake, it's popular in South America. Currently I'm not getting any fats other than what's in the protein shakes but that is how the plan has it for now, later they add in olive oil EVOO, avocado and I think Flax or grapeseed? I am not sure about Coconut fat? But natural dairy and meat fat is not on my diet. I hear that dairy fat is good from some bad from others. I think pretty much most foods are inherently healthy if you only moderate them. Of course not cake, cookies or soda but natural things. I don't crave those bad things, I crave stuff like chicken and fish. I went from 380 to 300 on a diet plan similar to South Beach diet that had good carbs and good fats then the losing stopped, that is why I got sleeve. So far 12 lbs in 10 days, I am happy I did it. Thanks!
Look for avocado puding. . So good. Blend avocado with a couple tbs of coconut milk (unsweet) ads some stevia, pinch of salt... That is healthy food ... Yum...

This looks interesting! I am going to show it to my daughter who loves to cook new things and see if I can get her to make it. Me? I am far too lazy. I agree that if you make smart substitutes and then eat it in moderation once in a blue moon it is not the end of the world. I will still need to run the nutriton profile on it, and look for ways to eliminate as much sugar as possible- but it is doable.

Yes...I didn't think folks would think I wanted them to make this a daily thing and drink a gallon of it...lol. Low fat, high in protein, good with fiber and beans and sweet potatoes are not bad for you in moderation. A half cup has about 30 carbs and about 140 calories, not too bad. All of these ingredients are on the plan. I noticed a lot of folks here are rather negative about things and assume that I am cheating or want them to do so. If beans bother you then why post at all, a little common sense goes a long way. Remember to leave out the cookies, raisins and I personally leave out the coconut milk and but you could add a drop of coconut extract but just a drop as it overpowers it. Thanks!
Oh yes, that's why in my original post, when it was there, suggested the retooling cuz the recipe in its original form looked way too carby & too much sugar, but there still might be a way to make it work, either that or have a way too indulgent treat which I do have from time to time, but beans make me fart, lol, sometimes you can never trust a fart.
I wonder how long this original post will last.
