I don't think they have it packed in water.

I confess. I don't drain the oil off. I pour the entire contents into a bowl and add pepper. That's how I eat it and I love it.

I forgot oatmeal, cottage cheese, Dannon Light & Fit vanilla Greek yogurt, , "waist friendly" trail mix of seeds, nuts, raisins and craisins for my weekend high protein tweaked Muesli breakfast.

I'm just a little over 2 months out, so I'm not doing nuts or salads yet, but can't wait to add those to the list.

  • Canned salmon, chicken and tuna
  • String cheese
  • Babybel cheese
  • Cottage cheese
  • Dannon Light and Fit yogurts, Fage 0% plain yogurt
  • Ground chicken and beef
  • Lots of fish, scallops, salmon, halibut, shrimp, and talapia
  • Premier Protein shakes, chocolate only
  • Buddig lunchmeat, all flavors
  • Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli
  • Avocado
  • Eggs, eggs, eggs
  • Light Mayonaisse
  • Coconut milk

BTW, I'm taking notes of what everyone else is eating. I need to add things to this list, and you're giving me some great ideas.

5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!

I like your list. It's pretty much what I was eating before the surgery on Diabetes diet. Good to see I can go back to them later when it comes time.
